Doctor, Where are You

56 years of Doctor Who: I have been helped by this show. My mind has grown to wide vistas because of this show. I have seen all of it, every existing episode, and often multiple times. I have even listened to a lot of the Doctor Who radio broadcasts and read the books. Due to the last four seasons, however, I am done. It breaks my heart to say that I won't be watching next season. I tried, obviously I did. I endured Capaldi's run and pretended that Whitiker's run had some quality. I can't do it anymore. I cannot write stories as a total amateur and then see such rotten bilge pass as stories on MY show. My show!
Should I watch the show? you might ask me. I would know, after all, having spent thousands of hours watching Doctor Who. My answer is "yes" but now with a definite qualifier; for the love of anything good in this world, don't watch any Doctor Who after Matt Smith's time. Doctor Who: 1963-2014. RIP
