AKA Marlo Louise Compton 2000 -2007 Child custody Yolo County case# SF00-1356. Not married to Compton, but took the last name of her son born in 1999. During the custody case she “borrowed” close to $200,000 from a boyfriend and neighbor, who mortgaged his home believing that she had her home as collateral and that they had a future together. Her home on Arroyo Ave. in Davis Ca. was being foreclosed on during that time. In 2001 she filed for Chapter 13 Bankruptcy after purchasing a 2001 Volvo S80. According to a recent police report, the psychiatrist who conducted the 2002 730 evaluation for a child custody hearing – Yolo County case# SF00-1356- wrote about Marlo as exhibiting characteristics associated with “a psychopathic personality disorder. These traits include egocentricity, irresponsibility, shallow emotions, lack of empathy, guilt or remorse, pathological lying, manipulativeness, and the persistent violation of social norms and expectations”. In 2004 she abducted her son, who she had no longer had full custody of, and moved in with two University Covenant Church of Davis members in Woodland. Convinced that Marlo was a victim down on her luck, the family takes her in. Alienating family members and convincing them of terrible lies, Marlo spent the next 5 years tormenting the entire family and embezzling through fraud more than $1,500,000 from the elders. For some of the family members, it was a cult like situation that included complete control along with emotional and physical abuse. She ruthlessly had people mortgage their homes, lie to protect her, and put them in financial, legal, and physical danger.
